2013 to present

 

An ongoing research by the artist in Kampung Mangkok in the coastal state of Terengganu, where he learns to make and fly kites from Zaki 'Bual', a local master craftman. Along the way, the artist responds with attempts in developing contemporary artworks.

 

This learning process resulted in the artist developing a much deeper appreciation for craft, labour, and livelihood through his various interactions with the villagers of Kampung Mangkok and Penarik.
